V El II (Born 11/11/1987) is a contemporary artist from and based in  Wilmington DE, USA. He is known for his spiritual concepts and esoteric principles of light and love that invoke deep feeling and connection to the divine. His mission is to spread Enlightment & conscious  awareness. He uses multi mediums, but is more commonly identified for his chalk, charcoal and ink works. A born artist drawing as a child, he later attended Delaware College of Art & Design in 2009, where he has sold and exhibited many pieces. Much of his career as an artist consisted of custom works. He had been influenced by many legendary artist and their work including  Leonardo Da Vinci, Ernie Barnes and Michelangelo. He pulls inspiration from holy scriptures, mythology, nature, and modern life in the Americas. V's extensive background in his spiritual practices of reiki, ritual, prayer, and meditation is reflected in his work. In fact, his chalk & charcoal pieces represent the relationship between light and darkness. The practice of these ancient arts in harmony through an urban lens is what gives it balance, beauty, wholeness, power.
